Green Product Management (GPM) is the process of designing, developing, and marketing products that are environmentally friendly. The goal of GPM is to minimize the environmental impact of a product throughout its entire lifecycle, from the sourcing of raw materials to the disposal of the product at the end of its life.

In GPM, companies consider the entire product lifecycle and evaluate the environmental impact of a product at each stage. This includes assessing the environmental impact of raw materials, energy consumption during production, packaging, transportation, and end-of-life disposal.

GPM also involves the integration of environmental considerations into the product development process, such as designing for recyclability, reducing the use of hazardous materials, and increasing energy efficiency.

By implementing GPM, companies can reduce their environmental impact, improve their reputation, and gain a competitive advantage in the market through differentiated eco-friendly products. Additionally, GPM can help to drive innovation and reduce costs in the long run.
